Booking & Cancellation Policy

Deposits & Payment

To reserve your trip with B and Z Sportfishing, LLC, a deposit is required at the time of booking:

  • $250 deposit for inshore trips

  • $750 deposit for mid-shore and offshore trips

The remaining balance is due in full before the boat leaves the dock. We accept cash and credit cards both online and in person.

Client Cancellations & Rescheduling

Due to the nature of charter fishing, we do not offer refunds for client-initiated cancellations. However, we do our best to accommodate changes when possible:

  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice: Your full deposit will be credited toward a future trip, either this season or next season.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: Your deposit will be credited toward another trip this season only.

  • No-shows or failure to notify us before the trip: Your deposit will be forfeited and cannot be applied to a future trip.

Captain-Initiated Cancellations (Weather & Safety)

The captain has sole discretion to cancel a trip for safety reasons, including adverse weather or mechanical issues.

  • Trips are not canceled for rain alone, but we will cancel if storms or unsafe conditions are expected.

  • If the captain cancels your trip and we cannot reschedule it this season, you may choose:

    • A full refund of your deposit (minus credit card fees), or

    • To apply your deposit to a trip next season

  • If you paid in cash, the full amount will be refunded if you do not wish to apply it toward a future trip.

Trip Downgrades Due to Weather (Offshore to Inshore/Bay)

If you booked an offshore trip but weather conditions limit us to inshore or bay waters, you may choose to:

  • Apply your deposit to the cost of the inshore trip, or

  • Apply the full deposit to a future offshore trip

If we are unable to reschedule this season and you do not wish to book for next season:

  • Credit card payments will be refunded minus processing fees

  • Cash payments will be refunded in full
